Hey Scotty! I have an automatic 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport that refuses to start! I put a new alternator, new battery, new starter, new spark plugs, and a new ignition switch in it. And it still refuses to turn over. Even using starter fluid doesn’t seem to get it going. Whenever I turn the key, it wants to turn over so badly. But it still doesn’t budge…. Do you have any ideas on what could be causing my Jeep to stall?

My 4.0L I6 blew up on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and believe me it was bad. It only had 135k on it but my father thought that it may had over 200k on it but I’m not buying it.

    I'd buy that actually !!!

ALWAYS loved these models, and I was a 2x Wrangler owner. Loved them, but….I also wanted more space available, and the Cherokee fills the bill, and is MUCH CHEAPER than any of the 4-door Wranglers that offer comparable rear bed area. The 4L engines offer plenty of power, and I NEVER had any engine/tranny issues with either. Thx to Scotty….the prices just went up 15%! 😉

This Jeep certainly travelled the world!

I see you use the word ‘‘stupid‘‘ very often. Just wondering how often the people call you a STUPID ???? 🙂

I love my 2000 Xj. Never getting rid of it

  10. Rex Racer

XJ Frameless and Shameless, put a 4.5 inch lift, put 35s and you'll have a killer off-road vehicle. Plus you get the good ole inline 4.0
