Just picked up an 02 4runner for 4 grand. Zero issues, cold AC, 160k miles so I'll do the timing belt again in 20k miles but deals are still out there! Branch out from the online searches, look for signs in cars around your town. Good luck!!

My Dad had an 07 accord 200k miles and the thing still ran like a top. Only problem was exhaust leak every now and then it would be loud.Sold it to his friend and he still drives it today and he is a crazy driver!!
If you're driving your car with the Check Engine light on for a problem that you know and don't care about, how do you know when a more serious problem happens that would also turn on the Check Engine light?
That car would sell at a car lot for at least $6,000 if it was in good shape with the mileage it has on it.. You don't find nothing but junk for $3,500. Maybe an old GM, Ford or Chrysler car, not a Honda a Toyota.
