I remember in my younger days when i used to patch up holes in the side sills of my car with 2 sheets of fibre glass sand them down and then paint the entire sill with underseal to cover it all up.
I used to laugh when i watched the mot man just miss the point where i had done the job.
it was uncanny that he used to tap underneath the sills every 9 inches or so going along and just miss the point where i had done the job and he did this every year doing the same thing and ended up passing the mot every time haha.
These days with modern cars you don't get that now with plastic sill protectors on the sills and valances with alot better protection underneath.

Rust is the process of an electron leaving an Iron atom, and moving to an Oxygen atom. It's a REDOX reaction where one substance drops an electron, and the other gains the electron. one electron leaves a Iron atom and joins to a Oxygen atom. Rust is simply the more stable natural state Iron wants to be in… Hydrated Ferric Oxide.

My old 2005 Toyota Tundra had the frame sprayed due to a recall because the frames were rusting.
How about tractor paint? I knew a guy that did this and it never rusted.

that happens to me on my Mazda 3 because I wasn't drive it much now my evap sistem is bad . Mr kilmer keep doing videos that's help alot and saved me$$$$$ ??
