Had an accident 4 yrs. ago & insurance said, based on police report, the fault was 50/50. My 21 yr. old car was worth $1,800 & damage was $4,500 to fix, minus $500 ded. I took the $2,200, fixed it myself & am still driving it to this day. The surcharge for the accident, just got removed this month. Yeeaah!😲😲😲
My wife has been offered the Price she paid for her reconditioned 5 year old used car plus $500.oo by the dealer she purchased it from.

This explains a lot. My parents were in a bad car accident last year. Their 2015 Toyota Sienna ran over a wheel that detached from another persons car which blew their tire and pulled them into a concrete guard rail for 35 feet. 18k of damage but apparently not enough to consider it totaled. They are from Illinois
