Hey Scotty! My question is You have any red small pick-up work truck? Or anyone on YouTube?

I was in a wreck and totaled my 85 30th anniversary t-bird, it was my fault, my friend was bending over messing with the radio at a stop light and his head moved in sync with an oncoming truck. I looked but never saw it because it was behind his head. A freak thing. Liability so i got no money for my car. I bought an 84 t-bird for $300 with a bad transmission and put the 85 trans into the 84. Drove it for 5 or 6 years until the oil pump went out and the engine was damaged. Then I put the 85 motor into the 84 and drove it another 10 years until i found a cheap grand am with working ac. You have to have space to store the parts where they won't corrode for when needed and be able to pay for the work or do it yourself. I did it myself and had no experience but bought the chiltons and figured it all out.

Best advice I ever received, from my buddy the mechanic, never buy a salvage vehicle. Never. My brother bought a salvaged car and it had nothing but problems, same for my sister. One had a bent frame, the other was flooded. Neither was fixable.

My aunt just bought back her son's "totaled" Corolla from the lot it was stored. The car suffered rear end damage (rear shattered glass and trunk but no engine or transmission damage) from the tornado that ripped through Tennessee in 2020. She had it repaired, re-titled to "salvage" and sent up to Illinois. But very few insurance companies wanted to sell coverage. She finally got insurance from Costco (of all places).

Excellent video and info. I sat here wondering what Scotty's hands were doing during this video.
