    EV's do more damage to the environment because of the mining for the materials needed to make them. Children working in the Congo to mine cobalt in toxic environment that also pollutes a river. You still need the oil industry to lubricate them and make the plastic and carbon fiber parts. The production takes a lot of power from the grid. That comes from mostly coal and oil powers plants. You cannot recycle the batteries and fuel cells. Putting more pollutants into dumps. No unions allowed. Government money needed to make them. Way to expensive for average people. Their employs on the line cannot afford them.
    Limited to area with chargers. They have one in my town a truck cannot get to. Take to long to charge. Doesn't work in freezing temps.

    I was living in Phoenix Arizona from 2015-2019 they were testing EV-GPS GUIDED CARS on a trial basis.Even with a safety driver riding shotgun,several people who walked into crosswalks against the lights were run down by these GPS cars=a joke-too unreliable.
