Hey Scotty what do you think of an 08 Chevrolet Silverado work truck as a first pickup truck it has a cracked windshield, it's been smoked in, the check engine light is on and there's a small oil leak 4 169000 Miles the seller wants 5K for it do you think it's a relatively good by how good are the V6 is with the four speed?
I know nothing about cars. In the BMW, can you put in a manual transmission in place of the automatic.

Would it have been worth it to replace the head gasket and check the head for warpage?
I have a whine somewhere around my engine, only in gear… also gets louder while i hit the accelerator. I have gotten the transmission checked and it is fine I have replaced my power steering pump and bled it. also new belt and new alternator. What should I do from there?
