I’ve got an 07 Prius 90k miles it runs fine but has oil tarnish on the engine oil dipstick is this an indication of anything bad?
Scotty, my 2013 VW Jetta S (automatic transmission) doesn't seem to want to down shift when I'm coasting and suddenly need to accelerate. Instead it just maxes out at about 2k rpm in a higher gear and makes an obnoxious roaring sound. Lately, I've been driving it in manual to avoid the problem. Is this a transmission problem, a computer/electrical problem, or both? It also sometimes loses power in rapid spurts when in gear 2 trying to accelerate. The dealership thought it was misfiring and replaced the spark plugs, coils, and wires. $700 later and this solved nothing. Help!
