Making the electric cars is not the main problem. The real problem is the load its gonna put on the power grid if they even get to the point that people can have enough charging stations. Its really senseless to stop using gas in cars to just use oil to create the power at power plants & then distribute it to all the different stations. Also imagine a bad storm & the power being knocked out. How about the controlled black outs that some States already do? If they get there wish & use government to make electric cars mandatory people will regret it. If it isn't broke don't fix it.
