Had no idea there was a flip series! Think I'm going to enjoy this series.

Glad to be doing similar jobs to my own new cheap car but plan to keep rather than flip haha.

Alex, i thought you had a parts washer? That would have been great to clean the valve covers and save on brake clean.

Alex miming 'manual transmission' and making the same gesture as 'a poke in the whiskers'. LOLz

Its prettymuch good exercise for bicepts and thats about all its good for, but I tell ya, years of wrenching gave me much bigger biceps than computer networking ever did

Labor doesn't equal money. When doing a flip if it doesn't come out of your pocket, it's not a cost. It's a hobby that pays.
If you expect to take a car to a mechanic and flip it, you will get burned a lot. Even Dealers get burned on quite a few cars buying them wholesale and paying $25hr. If you are buying something used retail and paying retail you might get lucky 50% of the time with the right cars. In other words, don't even attempt buying cars to flip if you are not handling the labor. Everyone knows that average Joe never gets back what they put into a car. I'll personally buy a 90s car and spend about $1,000 on parts not counting tires or paint. I replace all bushings and ball joints, brakes, calipers, pistons. Gaskets and seals if leaking. Coil packs. Flush and fill and bleed every fluid. Drive it for 3 to 5 as a daily and sell it for no loss. Gas and oil, that's it. Everything else is covered as it appreciates and it will never break down because everything is new.

3:53 I used that style tool also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHgQh8zUlks. They are for sure a lot more parts that need replacement on this car. Headlight gaskets and adjusters. Front bumper wheel liners when those are missing and owners are asking top dollar for a car that was possibly in a accident its a joke! RTV Silicone by the half moons and the splits by the front timing covers for the VCG job diff fluid and PSF w ATF for bmw. If you really want to see more hidden problems do a full body scan. The OEM 4 tip plugs are garbage they lose throttle response after 10k car will feel like its pulling timing. The bmws are always good content can't go wrong with a E39 V8!

And Now up to Bat! Alex! 😂😊😊😊😊! Great video! Thank You very much Alex for sharing this story with all of us! I've spent days and months putting my 92 Audi UrS4 together. I was on my way to buy the plates. Girl ran the Red Light! Totalled! 😳😳😭😭😭! I never thought of my time rebuilding my car. Because I truly enjoyed the journey! Now I have a 08 Mercedes E550 sport! I have kinda squeaky brake pads. Akabono brake pads and rotors. Oil change. Coolant flush and brake fluid. It's got 42k on the clock. I know there's more to be done. But it's something I truly love and enjoy. To see and feel that it's done right! And I did it! Thanks to you! 😊😊😊😊😊

Great video! Couple things. On spark plugs of that type, do you still need to gap them? I’d also like to see your method of one person method of bleeding brakes. Are you going to get a parts washer? 🏁🏁
