While working at McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, CA. The CEO John McDonnell kept bragging about how Chinese manufacturing of air planes was progressing. After Being baught MD out I guess the idea was scrapt. Sounds logical the US car manufacturers would do the same especially since they are going defunct like MD did.

We love to see massive dents on our cars.
Wife just got her 3rd in a row, 1st 2 were flawless and easily the nicest in the class for the money. Base model Envisions lease out cheaper than mid level Toyota's & Honda's that aren't as well equipped. Since we lease, it works out for us. When we buy our "retirement" vehicles, they will most likely be Toyota or Honda though. 2023 has a new turbo engine so we'll see how that does over the next 3 years, but it moves great.
