I own a couple fieros and am currently doing this swap at the moment, fieros are underrated and the stock v6 was perfectly acceptable power even for today, but the 3800 s/c turns this car into something serious. Fantastic video!
The fire issue during the 1984 model year was caused by heat shrouding. It was recalled and then removed.
Do not drive at night in the slightest snow fall because you are sitting right behind the headlights. I owned one in Ohio and driving at night with any type of snow fall was damn near impossible.
