The IIHS has been complaining about those crap bumpers for decades. As former IIHS president Bryan O’Neill said to motorweek in the 90s, that 2.5 mph bumper standard “is nothing more than a sham.”
I love Plexus. I’ve always used that stuff on motorcycle and golf cart windshields
I use NuFinish on my 2001 Durango and 2003 Dakota. Both are PW7 Bright White and still polish up nicely for their age. Love hearing the doors close on the Durango, so solid and you don't have to slam them shut.
My 1983 Volvo had chrome finished plastic grill and headlight surrounds (real glass quad headlamps) and to replace the headlight grills was $80 in 1984, not cheap even then. Great rant!
Almost forgot how terrible American versions of old Mercs looked.
I think the manufacture the wises up and makes a basic automobile with none of the nonsense like they are now making 'dumb phones' will find they will get lots of orders!
