We talk to a guy that got ripped off and taken for $12,500.00 at the collision shop. Getting a Car or Truck restored takes alot of guts these days. People are out to take you for every penny you got and getting screwed can put a big hurt in your bank and wallet. Listen to this story as we find out that paint and body shops are not all created equal.

Should have done what I did. 1. Watch your videos 2. Listen to them 3. get some balls. 4. Do it yourself. My car is beautiful and I never did this in my life. I’m 65 and still learning. Thank you Pete !
Who the heck pays $12000 up front to have something restored. Would you pay for a new roof before they install it? In 2.5 years he could have gained some interest on his money. I hope he gets a show car paint job now that they need to "get it out the door rush job".
My 1995 bodyshop horror story. I was just out of the marines in so-cal & wanted my 57 chevy post painted b4 I went to automotive school in Texas. Guy said it would be 2 weeks, 2 months later, only a light sanding was starting on 1 quarter panel.
Long story short, I worked in his shop ( for free) on his other projects in order to free him up to work on mine. We went 18 hours straight to finish my car.
I was putting the lights, bumper , everything back on b4 the paint was even dry. Made it to Texas b4 school started.
Never again will I put $ down at a body shop. Actually I've been a diy guy ever since 😄

I'm looking for the Repo Man Effect, I'll go over the car with several black lights at once for an hour before showcasing.
I know it will last 5-10 mins at most however I want this option on My car , maybe a later airbrush of night sky with lightning 🌩 art display.
