My truck is a diesel '84 Mazda b2200. Engine is a tank. I'm just now hitting the point where I need to replace and repair a lot of the original parts but the engine has never had to be rebuilt. You can't find every last little thing always, but the parts are still pretty easy to find and super affordable compared to other trucks (especially newer ones). Gets 35+ mpg and definitely trains you to be patient going up some hills.
That Auto is great for doing what it was meant to do.. offroad.
We have the steering on the right AKA CORRECT side.
They may be slow, but one Hilux won the 2019 Dakar Rally.
your driving 2.4 cc 2L TURBO there is 3.0 cc 3L TURBO much more powerful

The 3vze it comes with in North America is slow as hell to. The only enemy to the damn thing are the hills… only 145hp v6.
5speed 456 gear ratio. Thays why most people swap to the 5vze 3.4. Better mileage and it has obd2. I'd like a 1uz though.
