I'm in the UK and my dad still drives an old Land Rover like this. There are no seatbelts (not legally required) and you cannot hear each other talking when it's being driven. Due to the lack of any interior after the metal bodywork, they're extremely noisy. Lots of fun though!

SCOTTY the other day I went to a name brand quick oil change place to inquire about cost. I specified the oil and quantity and the car and asked how much to change oil. The shifty rep said he could not tell me how much it costs to change my oil till I got in on the platform and locked inside. I notice very little traffic in there and it is a new franchise. Every time I had oil change I was quoted up front.

I doubt it's the actually rich people driving these land rovers. It's people who have good credit digging themselves in debt and learning the hard way about spending money.

Is it the one with the aluminium body?
