    I don't think you understand how leases work. You are paying down the value of the car it's not like a 30k car will cost 30k after the lease is over. I leased a Honda Civic and sold it after 2 years to a private buyer and only lost about $2000 so 1k/year to drive a brand new car is a good value, actually.

    The Chevy Duramax diesels are great! And I’m not a Chevy guy at all. We have a fleet of them at work, and they have been proven to be better patrol vehicles than the Fords. The only thing that wears out on them is the rear end. They’ve all been swapped with Ford rear ends;)

    I love my 2016 Chevy Colorado. 2.8 duramax. 2wd it gets 35mpgs highway

    My brother in law has a 05 crew cab 4×4 with the I5 & 125,000 miles. It runs good has a little surface rust on the rocker panels and the frame is solid. He got it for $3,500. I think he got a good deal.

    They have bad electrical issues though, mine had its heads lights go out and the the only place that would look at it and give me a quote was the dealership. Needless to say it would have costed more to fix than it was worth because it needed to be completely re-wired
