Love your videos! I have an 06 chevy colorado extended cab and a slightly different code (P0446) popped up one day. I had to replace the fuel pressure sensor on the gas tank. Was a relatively simple and cheap fix for $15 and 20 minutes. The fuel tank pressure sensor is mounted on the top of the pump module on the top side of the gas tank. It can be accessed, without dropping the tank, on a Std Cab or Ext Cab. You have to take the back driver side tire off and remove the wheel well skirting then you can see the top of the tank and the pump module and might have shown exactly where the leak is.

Scotty if it's a rust free truck or newer lift the bed off much more easier get a friends or astrong friend and you can change the part but since you have to pull the tank might as well replace the fuel pump at almost 200k it's a GM not a Toyota

GM: hey let’s cut costs so our cars break more!

Also GM: Hey let’s cut costs by removing a ton of things that make stuff easier to fix!

Should my mom sell her 2011 Toyota RAV4 with 130000 Miles for a Toyota Tacoma 2015 or newer

Dropping a gas tank is not a big deal for a real mechanic!

The evap code my mechanic say is the code from hell lol. Funny this video popped up . I changed the o ring , spenoid valve , purge valve and it engine light for small evap leak comes back 2 months later . Smoke test performed no leaks

    Thanks Scotty,
I almost bought one. I think I will cross GM off my list.😌

Thanks scotty I have that same P442 code on my VW 🐰 when I got it it had P442 and P455 which is a large EVAP lack I changed the gas cap the first week I had it and since it's only giving me P442 it registered in FL so no inspection and it's runs fine so I haven't bother with it and now I know it not a big deal
