Air mass flow sensor or throttle positioning sensor I had do that on my GMC Van I cleaned my Air Mass Flo Sensor it helped it a lot but my Throttle positioning sensor would act up periodically even get a hard shift and did not throw a engine code because it was just periodically I changed the throttle positioning sensor and it never did that again

    Honda can’t fix my problem
I’m at the dealer now for the 4-5 times for starter grinding issue SB 16-002
Probably new tourq converter have to be install but they refuse to do that With some excuses, have 100,000 miles power train warranty.

But I not gonna give up, I’ll take them to the court if will be a need.

send it to over, we don't need a scan tool to make it work, we'll fix it…..

That's why during the last 40 years I only drove MANUAL transmissions. No computers, no software, no updates. Just steel gears and my hand. Infinite trouble free life. Honda Accords by the way.

My 2011 Honda Pilot does this exact same thing! I have 140k on my Pilot, so, no way I'm throwing 2,000 at fixing a problem that only shows up ever other drive.

1999 Toyota Corolla LE check engine light on, took it to AutoZone they put two different scan tools on it no codes they didn't turn the light off the first time they scanned it it came back as a Kia I doubt they know what they're doing.

But I thought Honda's were bulletproof, problem free vehicles that were superior to American cars….LoL
