    FORD NO LONGER PUT MADE IN MEXICO BECAUSE OF SCOTTY, i had my ford escape hybrid got gasket problem they said buy a new car instead HAHAHA

    I did go to the dealer to check out the Maverick. I'm a big man, I felt cramped for shoulder room. It was a definite no for me. One side was against the console and the other against the door. I could have driven it but would never be happy with the cramped front seat.

    Enjoy your blown head gasket on that ford 2.0 liter! Absolute trash honestly worse reliability than the old 5.4 liter triton .

    I was sold on one of these until I did a search of eco=boost problems. More like eco junk. go ahead do a youtube search right now. The hybird is probably better in the long haul. Toyota is coming out with a competitor and my advise is to wait for that.

    Engine idle stop is no good? Well, hybrid vehicles turn the engine on and off too, depending on how fast you drive them. Can you turn off the hybrid system? Can you keep the engine from turning on and off in a hybrid?

    My grandfather had a used Ford Maverick. I think it was 1971 era. He liked it as a daily driver.
