The Number 1 cause of Car AC not working is such a easy fix.
Some mistakes are so simple example performing the Recharge in the shade.
Arctic freeze auto AC Recharge Synthetic refrigerant with stop leak, A/C pro refrigerant are just some good brand Refrigerant that can be used.

Wow! Thanks! It worked! Guage was barely in the green (which read filled) no blue on my guage .. filled to the higher end of the green and working great. 😊

Well for 1 most Mechanics arent using a Can of R134 with a Gauge they are using a Automatic Recharge and Recovery Machine since a Lot of the Service is the Recovery part of it allowing the Gas in the Air is actually a Crime

    Mine went straight to Red!
Took it to the shop & the compressor had a catastrophic failure.. Cost about $2k for a new system

Time is money and we charge as quick as possible .

Can you tell me please what caused this on the video, I have a weired sound and smoke getting out of my 2009 CRV.

if the car or truck empty upside down is much faster as it will charge it as a liquid and giving it a shake periodically will help rebuild pressure in the can as well as allowing it to warm up a bit towards the end. if it runs out you will know cause the neddle won't change while charging. it is not a mixed refrigerant so you can charge it either way, as a vapor(right side up) or a liquid (upside down) some vehicles will have a low pressure sensor and so the cpmpressor wont even turn on until that pressure is met. if you hooked it up and the pressure was low below (30 psi for 134a) or gone then just add it little by little untill the compressor kicks on then as the compressor is running charge it so the suction of the low side helps you. check fuzes and relays if you get above 20 and it doesn't start. getting air in there can make a difference if you take it to a mechanic make sure the vacuum the system out before charging to get a good factory charge on it any air in it will shorten the life of the compressor. i wish these had a way to bleed the air out of the hose but just know that a shorter hose on the device is actually better. if the tip of the hose has a Schrader pull the trigger and depress it till some gas comes out to prime the hose. or you could even pull it for a second while attaching it to prevent air in the hose from getting in.

never use a laser temp reader for something like that. you want the air temp not a surface temp. get a multimeter with a thermal sensor and swing it around or get a digital web bulb sensor and set it to its dry bulb setting and make sure air is moving over it from the ambient temperature in front of the front radiator where the compressor coil is.

The only way to recharge a/c is to vacuum out the system first, this is just a top up and will not always work
