The thing is if you're shorting a stock… If the price goes up you can go long on the stock to hedge your bet. It's called closing out your position.
The big way you lose is if you've put all your eggs in 1 basket & have no more money to play with to then go long with…
So there's DEFINITELY big wigs playing this ENTIRE up & down & laughing at this entire pump & dump that people keep foolishly buying into.
Only the idiots will lose here & most loses are only on paper. I don't understand why more people aren't saying this.
The ENTIRE original point of going short or long on a stock is to hedge against what you're actually hoping it will do.
