amount of faulty sensors I get on hyundai's, tps, airflow, brake switch etc etc
only plus is aftermarket sensors cheap and seem pretty decent .
Like you say easy for diy guys diagnose this but likes of hantek scope or used vantage plus is affordable if they want experiment with better diag gear .
I sure hope you stopped by the ice cream stand during the final toot and got yourself a nice big twist in a cone to degrumpify yourself! Works for me…most of the time anyway. 🙂

I have the same engine on 2008 Kia sportage. Mine hard shifts between 2 and 3rd gear only. Then I unplug the battery overnight and its ok for a few weeks. I wonder if its the same issue only it doesnt make sense that unplugging the battery fixes it for a while..or deos it? No money light ever.
