In this video I’ll demonstrate how to set up and use a self leveling laser to measure frame or body damage on a vehicle after an accident. Its a great tool that can be used when precision is important to get the damaged areas pulled out to specification, this way you’re not guessing and know exactly how much to pull and where to stop to make the repair easier to perform.

if the strut tower is up then isnt the frame rail short, its attached to the rail ,thats where a length measurment must come in.ive straightened many many cars with the strut tower too high and every one the rail was short or the tower was in.i usuall measure the rotor for height off the rack.very nice explaining on how to use a laser but it doesnt measure length which is why you must use 3 d measuring and a bluprint for at least width

    Hello,
Question, if when you first place the level on those windshield corners and one corner is higher than another, does that mean you have raise the vehicle on the opposite side to level or does the level do that? Any help appreciated.

How do you consider the reference points if the concrete floor is not level?
