I totally understand that the best way to repair rusted rocker panels or fenders is using welding and patching the hole area with the new sheet metal. But if you can not afford to spend several hundred dollars for that job this is the cheapest approach on how to fix rust holes on your car, truck or van, even if it’s temporary(rust will eventually come back).
!!! USEFUL TIP: Let the vehicle sit for 1-2 days after you cut the foam. This will prevent cracks in body filler due to foam shrinkage !!!

Best help I’ve seen thanks
this is killing me
That was surprisingly good, but you forgot the clear-coat layer and the 1500, 2000 & 3000 grit sandpaper sanding as the very final step.
The foam is great but if you filled the hole with dirt and planted potatoes, by the fall you would have a great repair. Point your tail pipe towards the repair to harden the potatoes and then wipe with melted butter to help prevent future rust. ?
"How awesome it looks", but how shitty it is done. Fiberglass is something you should use. Not this sealing foam… How long did it last ? Half a year maybe ?
For a Dodge Caravan, that will suffice. I know those cars and they usually have plenty of issues before ever reaching 100k miles. Thus, they aren't worth more than that in time or money. Great job.
Wow nice
