I totally understand that the best way to repair rusted rocker panels or fenders is using welding and patching the hole area with the new sheet metal. But if you can not afford to spend several hundred dollars for that job this is the cheapest approach on how to fix rust holes on your car, truck or van, even if it’s temporary(rust will eventually come back).

!!! USEFUL TIP: Let the vehicle sit for 1-2 days after you cut the foam. This will prevent cracks in body filler due to foam shrinkage !!!

    Should I use the standart champagne/beige color for Honda that AutoZone sells???

    You should of prime the area before adding the foam

    I did this for a friend of mine years ago and it worked great. I used a plastic sheet to help form the foam while it was setting up. I used my gloved hands and duct tape to shape and hold. This guy is right, it's a cheap fix for a big problem. It will last about 1 year before you need to repair again.
