We flip vehicles (cars, trucks, boats, tractors…) 100% because we don't want to deal with walk-in customers. 80% is body / paint work. The most important things I look at when purchasing a flip vehicle flip is (1)interior condition and then mileage, Mileage, MILEAGE.
Owned shops in the mid-west and south, maybe its different in California, but anything over 140,000 miles is harder to sale and the last thing you want to do is sit on a flip vehicle for any length of time.

As for trailers – a good 18' steel deck dove tail car hauler can be had new for around $2,000. We buy up to 500 miles away and have several ranging from haulers to heavy equipment. For us, I consider a trailer equipped with a strong wench shop equipment that is vital as a compressor.
