Just remember to use a mask and in a well ventilated area when it comes to 2k paints. Super dangerous.
Really great and detailed video the results are amazing! I had a deep scratch on the side of my car so I had to use filler, primer and spray paint but the car shop sold me the wrong clear coat, it was meant to be shiny clear coat but instead sold me a transparent flat one instead. Without realising this I sprayed on my car and now looks completely wrong. Should I sand down to remove the coat and then immediately spray the shiny 2k clear coat? Or do I need to spray a fresh layer of paint then clear coat?
All this work and you didn't repair the door dings. Still interesting to see what you can do with spray cans. Obviously not your first time spraying. 🙂
* * I followed exactly your instructions but the finish product is not very glossy and very smooth. Do I have to wet sand the 2K clear coat and then buff it to get it glossy? You did an excellent job and got a very high gloss without any wet sanding and buffing at the end… * *
Great video! How many cans did you use for that quarter panel?
What's the brand name of that paint
was just what i needed to see to
repair my grand daughters Lexus.
How does it match with the rest of the car? Any blending needed??
Excellent learn a lot from it… thank you
If I have no place like a garage to do this myself would an alley behind my house or something be okay??
