    Sometimes clay bars can get most, if not all, oxidation off of paint depending on the severity of the damage. Then put on a nice coat of polish, then apply a good wax, this also helps remove additional oxidation, swirl marks and light scratches. Cleaner-Waxes work well too but using a clay bar is the next best thing to getting new paint in my opinion…. and CHEAPER!

    I keep and file away every receipt for service done on my vehicles. Every oil change and any other type of service done. Maybe that will help prove that the vehicle was taken care when it comes time to sell. The last car I sold, I just traded in for a new car. So it really didn't matter in that case. I may just be saving these service receipts because I am OCD. LOL

    I wish painting a car properly had a cost of 3-5k. In Canada, it's more like 9-11k.

    When I was about 14, I put my older brothers best friends car up for sale, the problem was he didn't know. He couldn't work out why this guy was knocking at his door asking him heaps of questions about his car. I got a good thumping, but it was worth it.

    Finally someone with experience like Scotty talk about this, there is people selling cars even full of dog or cat hair and bad smell inside old engine oil ect. and that's not a 1st option to buy a car
