I worked at a fly by night used car place as a mechanic. I went thru a trade in car and made it presentable to customers. If it had body rot, I would cut a piece of soda can and glue it over the hole then spray paint it. Mostly just wash the car and vacuum the inside. It helped getting suckers..er, I mean customers to buy it.?

Question: Scotty i have an automatic Chrysler Sebring '98, it runs fine but when i change from Parking to Drive or when i do a complete stop, i hear a cracking noise, like a mesh engaging or something. I changed the trans fluid, didnt flush, changed filters and stuff, but it keeps doing that noise. What can it be?
