why junk the Volvo if it's running? Does it impede the forward movement of the car? No?! So it's not a problem 😉

I have a 70 Monte Carlo that went throughout the flood I just bought and was wondering if I should do the same you did with vovlo it water in the motor and trans and gas tank I pulled the dipstick and it looks like sludge

Or go to the junkyard and get an ecu or two for $15 each and drive the thing til it dies.

I once bought a clean 97 dodge intrepid that i drove an hour a tiny town in the desert to see. I think they thought they were getting one over on me. It has 90k miles and seemed to run perfect until the owner shut the hood for me. The car just turns off and he acted like nothing just happened. I tell him to pop the trunk and lightly slam it and if it does it again than ill buy it…i bought the car, drove it back to vegas, and fiddled around til i found the short in the ecu. Wento to junk yard got another ecu and it was fine but had a new problem, i look online and see that those car were known for terrible ecu design and a short life so figure it has to be ecu and thats why the other car was in junkyard so i went and exchanged it for another ecu i pulled out of a car and my car was so reliable for the 3.5 years i kept it. Was worth the $600 i spent.

I just got my first car payment non cash car this year and im worried because it has the ecu in the engine conpartment. Its a toyota matrix 2.4l xrs. I love toyotas, but im worried they made a mistale similar to dodges with the intrepids. I havemt seen a 97 dodge intrepid in over 5 years..not a single one
