Repair unsightly rust before it’s too late.
If the car has a natural enemy, it’s rust. Left unattended it’s unsightly and unsafe, but can be repaired with the right products and a bit of effort. You can keep your car in top condition by checking your body work as often as you check your oil and repairing rust spots as soon as they appear.

I used cardboard several times and didn't hurt anything !
Wow, Supercheap is right, this is not how to repair rust as it will very quickly come back if you do this, also doing this to flip off a sh#t car to a new unsuspecting owner is not cool as they will be paying what appears to be a straight car not a rusty dunger. Those defending this method obviously know nothing about cars or give a toss about their safety, whats behind the area and what is left behind does matter as if you leave rust behind it will come and bite you in the ass when you least expect it.
He knows hes wrong.
English is not my mother tongue, but I would say this is mending and not repairing. Those kind of mebdings ALWAYS come to the surface in a couple of years. This is just to sell a car and obviously, cheat the buyer.
long term testing por-15 on rocker area of an 87 g-body…i chipped out the bad rot…i ospho'd it then por15'd it, t e n years ago. rust hasnt come back…just sayin
it doesnt have to be right, its just gotta look right, said the car salesman
this will last 6-8 week and the rust will continue inside the panel
