Headlight Restoration using Clear Coat. This video will show you how to clean and restore your headlights so they will never turn yellow or hazy again! You have seen videos on restoring headlights with bug spray, toothpaste, baking soda, and the kits you buy in the store, but all of these methods are temporary and eventually the haze and oxidation will come back.
My method will first make the headlight clear by wet sanding and then put a UV coat on it to seal it in.

Sandpaper? Nice, can't do this. Germany is WIERD!
I can imagine him running around and fixing headlights…
This is an amazing video. I was wondering how to get my lights back to looking new after a dealership switched them out.
Be careful with the 400 grit. You can burn plastic with that heavy of a grit
Are you going to go drifting in the summer
dude, why do u, look so old
Will this work for taking spray paint off tail lights ?
I did this to my daughters ‘99 Nissan Murano, turned out awesome. I did make a few changes though. I did this in a garage out of the sun and elements. I started with P1000 sandpaper, then P1500, then finally P2000 before I painted. After 4 light coats I wet sanded with P3000 and applied 3 more light coats wet sanding in between. I waited a week before waxing with Meguire’s Ultimate liquid wax to make sure the paint was cured. I did this over a year ago and they still look like brand new.
I can see why you have 21,000,000 hits. Your description on how to restore my headlights was spot on. Thanks heaps.
The good people at Rustoleum Paints owe you a paycheck!!! This just bumped their product into the next level!
Great vid and professional methods that "clearly" work lol! I will be trying this on my Equinox. Thanks!!! Thumbs up!
