All the guys I knew growing up doing body work all got out that business by the time they hit 40 including my brother & cousins. Their knees on concrete floors couldn't take it anymore. Now they all work in steel mills now making way more than they were when doing bodywork.
They definitely don't work as many hours at the steel mill as they did when painting hot rods.
They ain't as grouchy as they use to be either.
Maybe you should get a job at a steel mill and give up bodywork?
