Man Chris , your tips are really good! But No way getting under a car with out four Jack stands , make it 5 or 6… Once car falls, good bye to life! .. is this job good for both automatic trans and stick shift?! To say the SAME steps ???.
Wouldn't it be usefull to mark the position of the u joint at the rear diff to get the drife shaft back the exact way it came off to make sure the balancing is correct again?
I'm guessing that doing this on a VW will require about a hundred extra steps and two dozen special tools 😣
