Todays video I am doing Rust Repair on my 2003 Jeep Tj. It has a common rust hole beneath the license Plate cover. The issue with this rust is that 2 body panels are sandwiched together and dirt collects behind the panels. This causes the panels to rust form the inside out ballon and the burst. The rust repair turned out pretty good using my Esab Rebel Welder and some sheet metal

what was engineer johnny thinking when he made that spot weld sandwich… in the interest of full disclosure i am dreading properly fixing my rust in the same area, i filled mine full of bondo already hehe

Great job Jerry as always . Thank you for sharing. I had the same issue with my 03 TJ also ,I repaired it some time ago. The only problem I've noticed recently was my body filler has shrunk in that area. I will make the correction to this problem again next spring . Take care and say hi to Tomcat for me .
