Why didn’t you sand the entire hood like you sanded the bad clear coat areas? I’m about to redo my hood so really want to know!

Didn't repair a thing! Sand it off and paint it is not saving bad clear coat, it's called a paint job.

Would be if you can tell me what material can I buy to like Clearcoat paint primer what brands are good I’m doing just a fender bumper and hood on a 1969 ss Chevelle
