You’re the specialist Pete, however, as a bonus (from a long time Waterman in Hawaii) I’d go ahead and stiffen the back side of those cracks with matting and laminating resin as well .
BTW, thanks big time for all your information over the years. I’ve taken what YOU taught me and have painted several motorcycles, a classic truck and one more in progress. I even do rust repairs for friends and could make money at it if I wanted. It’s way better for my health than boat building if you know what I mean! Okay, thanks to Minnie too…..10%
Pete, I have a shell for a K5 Blazer 1984 and it seems that the gel coat is degrading. It streaks when it rains. How can I prep it for paint so it will adhere properly?
