    I did this on a few scratches on a black car. The result is acceptable, but far from "as new" (But of course way better than do it with a scratch repair pen). Yes, it's not noticable from 1 meter and hard to see on camera, but when you sell your car and teh buyer inspects the body panels carefully, then he will notice it. But of course you did your best to repair the scratch and that's the maximum you can do with it.

    I use the same method of filling it, although I have to try the razor blade method… I tend to mix a bit of acrylic clear coat together with the basecoat color. In testing I've found it gives a better results and less noticeable..
