No wet sanding after base coat but before clear coat ?

How long did the clear take to dry? I'm concerned as I want to do this to my daily car and only really have the weekend for it to cure before I need to drive it.

Should have extended down to the panel join then no hard line would be visible

I was under impression the white patches on hood was damaged clear coat. And you could sand it and spray clear coat on it. Am I wrong. My truck has two white patches on roof and I need to fix it. Is painting mandatory?

When you are blending lines or edges, you feather the edges. sand very lightly in a circular motion. That will help it blend a little better.
