Nice job! Why not use primer before paint?

Could you do a scratch in middle of door please 😀👍

Thanks great help and informative. I noticed that you did not apply any primer first is this not necessary on a plastic bumper?

Really helpful video, it’s encouraged me to tackle a rear wheel arch! Can I ask, is the heat gun necessary/what’s the benefit? I don’t have one and I’m wondering does it make it quicker or help the paint to blend because it’s warmer? Or something completely different?

Hiya. Great work mate. What grit sandpaper do you use to key the surface? Love your work. I’ve subscribed and followed your page.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. Most videos are either pro's in a shop with spray booths or hacks doing a terrible job. This is the perfect video, I'm an amateur detailer (on my own cars) and know what I'm doing, but obviously no spray booth. So doing a bumper rash on my car the right way is appealing. Thanks again. Good content.

I need to try this on the bubbling clear coat on the plastic wing on my XR6 Falcon

Apply the paint with an airbrush. Don't use a heatgun, use a heat lamp which isn't too hot. Lay the last clear coat very rich, avoiding runs. No polishing needed.
