It was really helpful, thank you
The circuit board to my fob was exposed to saltwater. Am I sh*t out of luck?
Thanks for the info! Just fixed my fob saving me $50-$100.
Thank you so much. It works.
It worked for my Jeep
I have a question. The battery of my fob key (toyota vitz) runs low every week. Do you have any tips? Thanks in advance.
Holy crap! This works! My 2009 remote which hadn't worked in YEARS now works beautifully!!! My mechanic even looked at fixing the remote one time but couldn't get it to work.
This is amazing! Winters in Canada are long, hard, and cold…It's been hell because I park outside at home and at work. When at work, I have A LOT of things to carry. When I get to the car, I have to open the driver door so I can open the trunk, or whichever other door i need open. Sometimes i have to walk back around to the driver's side because the other doors didn't unlock for some reason. REAL PAIN. Now I can unlock all the doors and even the trunk remotely! AMAZING!!! My 2007 Santa Fe remote stopped working long ago too. I just did the clean on it but it didn't work…BUT…after a few mins of inactivity a light came on the remote for the 1st time in FOREVER! It's late, dark , and cold now…will play around tomorrow. THANKS A BUNCH GUYS!!!!
Time stamps for each MAKE would be great!
Tried with 70% isopropyl alcohol but didn't work. The strange thing is the key fob for my wife' 2006 Chevy HHR slowly stopped working over time. We kept having to hold down the button longer and it would work, but over time it just stopped working at all. Any other ideas? We don't want to have to pay a shop $200 for a new key fob and programing. It' ridiculous that we can't even lock her car without the damn horn going off until we get a new key fob.
