Havent tried it but i heard that bug spray and water mix (dont remember the ratio) actually works. The bug spray has to have deet in it and it crystallizes in the crack. Just a thought for ya but a truck driver at the parts store told me and another guy had heard about it also. Anyways, keep up the great info..
