There’s more rust on this car then an old coffee can! The only thing to do with it is scrap it and start over. We look at several different ways to fix rust, but the easiest way to fix it is to throw it in the trash. Rust sucks and we all know it, welding, metal fabrication, replacement panels, and extensive hours of labor are involved. This is the easy way to fix rust and never see it come back again.

Either that or?…The Baxter 6 inch Rotary stripper sander (from H.F.) with 40 grit will strip that filler RIGHT OFF there fairly quick! I love mine! And it DOESN'T wear your whole wrists, arm. shoulder OUT like it's double PLUS priced Dynabrade brand counterpart (Love their DAs but, NOT so much THEIR rotary stripper.) That combined with 40 grit, maybe 80 grit (depending WHICH methods are preferred) on the 8 inch mudhog (IF even wanted) WILL finish it ALL right OFF there for ya…NOooooo Prawb-lem maaann 😎 ("ALL dat chyts GOTTA COME OFF DERE! I AIN'T JUST BLOCKIN AND PAINTING OVER THAT……AND STILL BE ABLE TO, GUARANTEE MY WORK!" 🤬 Lol….And Hey, I TOTALLY "get it" as well 🤘KEEP a grindin!💪😎

Yep…think I got one worse. 63 Grand Prix from Washington State. Made its way down to S Florida many years ago and sat on a wooden plank trailer. She is rotted to the point to where the frame rails behind the front wheels are almost gone..lol, but she is a complete 389 numbers matching car I picked up relatively cheap. So she will be a Rustomod. Just going to get her a frame from California and do some sort of Midevil metal work on the body. She would cost to much to do a nut and bolt restoration IMO Just going to do her up a little and have some fun.
