    I did the same exact thing last year. But I sanded thru the clear a little and didn't reprime .then I had reaction and it was a real fucked up situation.

    Apparently it`s not pure aluminum, It`s a aluminum alloy, Be careful if you grind or weld as it might contain Zinc, And Zinc oxide is toxic if released in fumes
