On my Holden Astra silver colour I've got touch up paint brush stick in a little bottle. Do I have to put primer or clear coat at all when applying the touch up paint please

My kid brother decided to walk on the roof of my car. I found all kinds of dents, took it to a body shop, and they said they could replace the roof for $1,750 if they found one. I punched out a couple of dents. When my hand hurt I started using hot glue PDR. When I finally decide to pay someone to do the work I end up doing it myself!
Scotty I bought my Matrix with that same front panel all dented, just went to my local scrap yard found one that matched the dark blue and they are so easy to remove and put on, just have to be easy with the plastic clip at the front of the panel. think it cost me $12.presto good as new.
My 2007 tahoe shuts off while driving. Replaced battery and alternator. What’s the problem?
