I'm new to this, along with this is going to be my first time doing it on my car. So here's my question, since you buffed it so nice and shiny and it's a different look from the rest of the car. does that mean you'll have to buff your entire car to make it look the same? 19:56
NOTE: I have a newer 2017 Mazda and I have the paint chip with the rust from pebbles on the roof of my car does that mean I'll have to wet sand the entire roof, or just the rust chips?

Sweeeeeeeeet video. I have some spare base coat and separate clear coat from when the car was painted. Do I go through your process on base coat, then same process on clear coat…..or do I mix some base and clear together, then apply your process. If I mix, do I 50/50

Tried this process and think I need to redo my spots. Once I started wet sanding it appeared that the touch up paint still has rough outside edges from the previous paint. Should I touch up the spot again with touch up paint, and then try wet sanding again until the area is all flush? Have two marks on my hood, and one vertical on a door. I have wet sanded marks before, but am always cautious doing so on my wife's Subaru. I know their paint is very touchy since they are so Green in their process.

What do you do if you get holograms after buffing?

This is a great video. I'll be trying this next week.

SPC on the rust chips how long does the self etching primer needs to dry before painting?

I tried using a dual action polisher after wet sanding skipping the dewalt. Cause I didn’t have one. The dual action using a medium cut foam pad is ineffective it takes too long. After wet sanding The scratches were from wet sanding only. Any comments appreciated.
