@diyautoschool my friend pete, after you "scuff it" can you change your base color from the original color? (I have a Black truck, can I change to Lime Green)

@75schulte If you are changing the color of your vehicle, it's advised to properly wet sand instead of scuff. the whole car, then come back and scuff the edges that your block sanding missed. This type of repair you see in this video with scuffing procedures is for spot painting. Pete

Great video Pete! Are there any cars you take from beginning to end and show how like u did this one? Your videos are kinda all over the place..lol. Love the videos Pete. Keep em coming! I want to see you do a paint job from beginning to end, wet sanding and buffing and all. Maybe you can tell me what vehicle u did so I can find it in the mess of videos you got. Thanks again Pete!. Love your language and candid behavior in the videos!. You crack me up sometimes while I learn =)

@supersport2778 I do so many different cars and stuff, that I don't really concentrate on doing one job from start to finish, I try to find parts of the car Im working on to get the best knowledge out of, if you go to swrnc on youtube you will see alot of how to videos as well… Thanks for the comments Pete

@gpcdist It depends on what your sanding at the time. if it's your final sand, yes sand by hand, if you are sanding to put your first primer on, then you can use the proper electric sander. You should try to use air sanders, if possible. Pete

There's an obvious difference between the 400 sand for the primed damaged areas vs. the "scuff it" areas. Does the base coat/clear coat finish cover these differences?

Can you paste the link for the "whole car" sanding for changing base coat? I'm not going to far ["tropic tan" to "Daytona Yellow"]. Is it just one sanding? Do I need to "feather" my prime/fill areas?
