Hey Pete if someone had 1500 grit wet sanded a few small areas of the car is it possible to just use wax to fix it instead of paint ?

You won't be able to hand wax 1500 grit out but you can buy an adaptor for your drill which is a small buffer pad and then possibly remove the dull areas using rubbing compound then wax, if it doesn't come out, you will have to wet sand with 2 or 3000 grit then repeat process, be careful not to burn through the clear coat or paint, use plenty of compound when spot buffing. Take it easy and good luck, Pete
