    I recently found some rust the fire wall my 2007 2500hd GMC Sierra. The rust is a result of Battery acid overflow. I neutralized the rust with baking soda paste and rinse. There is a battery support bracket spot welded into the fire wall. At the bottom of this bracket is where the rust begins- there is rust between the bracket and fire wall. How do I remove the bracket to cure the rust without messing is the fire wall?
